Netflix has created a UK team focused on live programming, bringing in Claire Horton, a prominent unscripted exec whose EP credits include The Masked Singer UK, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and All Together Now. The team is led by The Circle exec Daisy Lilley and will oversee next month's boxing match between Tyson Fury and Arslanbek Makhmudov. They have also been working on The Circle at Studio Lambert, which was a hit for Netflix and sold to different territories around the world. Recent examples of live programming for Lilley include Skyscraper Live and Building the Band, both commissioned out of the States but made by UK indies. The new team leader will be Syeda Irtizaali, who was part of the BBC-NBC deal that brought The Traitors to the BBC and Peacock.
