North Carolina firm tapped to lead search for KCATA’s next CEO

The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KATA) has hired North Carolina firm KL2 Connects, LLC to lead its national search for its next CEO. The firm, which works exclusively in the public transportation sector, brings over 250 years of combined experience and a deep understanding of industry challenges, trends and best practices. The KCATA Board announced in January that it would not renew the contract of former CEO Frank White III, who had served with the agency for a decade. The Board of Commissioners will remain involved throughout the search to ensure a qualified leader who can advance the agency's mission.
