A man, Braxton Rabago, has been charged with first-degree attempted murder for allegedly attacking a police officer with multiple stab wounds. The incident occurred at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel in Waikiki, where a 34-year-old man was reported to have been assaulted. An altercation reportedly broke out between Rabago and an unidentified plainclothes officer. The officer was taken to the hospital in good condition. Rabago was also arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, harassment, and attempted murder.
