Passenger bomb threat disrupts JetBlue flight at Fort Lauderdale airport

Police were called to a bomb threat at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, where an elderly man was removed from the plane. The Broward Sheriff's Office Airport District responded to the threat and evacuated the plane as a precaution. A K9 unit found no bomb on board and passengers re-boarded the plane shortly after. The suspect, Robert Albanese, was not among current Broward County inmates.
