A man is dead and two other men are injured following a shooting at a construction site in Silverleaf, St. Johns County, according to Sheriff Rob Hardwick. The shooting reportedly stemmed from an argument that turned physical between co-workers on the site. Two other men were also injured and taken to local hospitals. The St Johns County Sheriff’s Office received a call about shots fired near Crimson Leaf Drive and Johns Island Parkway around 4:36 p.m. The suspect, who was not identified during the news conference, had left the scene in a vehicle with his brother. The sheriff credited deputies for quickly apprehending the suspect.
