The New Hampshire Attorney General is revealing that a police officer shot 27-year-old woman, Megan Whiting, multiple times during an officer-involved shooting in Northfield. The incident occurred around 12:12 a.m. on Monday. Whiting was reportedly armed with a knife and police ordered her to drop it, but one officer opened fire. The officer's cause of death was determined as a homicide. The names of the officers involved in the incident are being withheld pending formal interviews.
