Curt Cignetti's new eight-year contract with Indiana has been revised to offer him more than $100 million over the life of his contract, averaging $13.2 million annually, making it one of the most lucrative for a public school coach. The revised deal reflects Indiana's increased financial commitment to its football program following a national championship. The university would pay 100% of his remaining contract if it terminates his employment without cause, offsetting an offset on a "dollar-for-dollar basis" if he finds another job.
