The mobile app DopFone turns any smartphone into an at-home fetal Doppler heart rate monitor, capable of detecting signals caused by a fetal heartbeat and delivering immediate measurement to the parents. The team hopes the app will eventually provide an affordable way for families to monitor their children's health from the comfort of their homes. The app requires clinical testing and marketing approval.
