NJ Man Who Shot Himself Dead Was To Be Arrested For Murder Of 'Wife': Complaint

Brendan Trivisonno, a 38-year-old man from New Jersey, fatally shot himself in his Lyndhurst home as detectives tried to negotiate for him to come out. He was about to be arrested on a charge of first-degree murder for the murder of Janaina Freire Goncalves, 47, who had gone missing on March 10, 2025. The police complaint details the circumstances surrounding the death, including how Goncalve had married Triviamno in 2024, but he had already married another woman three weeks earlier. Surveillance video showed Triviviamno parking at the building on the night of March 10 and letting Gonchezal into the building. The complaint also revealed that Triviveniven was aware of Trivenn's affair and that his wife knew about the affair.
