President Donald Trump has hit a record low on the cost of living, according to CNN data guru Harry Enten. Enten stated that the low approval rating could potentially cost Republicans the election in the 2026 mid-decade. This comes as gas prices have increased since the start of the U.S.-Israel war against Iran. The number of independent voters has also decreased significantly since October 2024, when Trump had an 11-point advantage over then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
