Türkiye's passenger car and light commercial vehicle market contracted by 2.97 percent in February 2026 compared to the same month of 2025, according to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD). This follows a 9.77 percent annual expansion in the auto market in January. Despite the monthly decline, overall sales remained above historical averages. The combined market was 45.6 percent higher than the 10-year February average, with passenger car sales alone up 49.2 percent compared to long-awaited.
