Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce awards $25K grants to 10 local businesses

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has awarded $25K grants to 10 local businesses. The winners were part of IGNITE Brooklyn Made, the program sponsored by Wells Fargo. The finalists competed in a Shark Tank-style competition at BRIC House and received significant funding. The first place went to Khareen Georges, the founder of Teazert Tea, creating premium loose-leaf teas without adding sugar or calories.
