At his OpenAI trial, Musk relitigates an old friendship

Elton Musk, the CEO of OpenAI, revealed that he had a falling out with Google's Larry Page over AI safety, a conversation he had with him that led to the co-founder's claim that AI itself could wipe out humanity. The friendship between the two ended when Page felt betrayed by Musk's decision to invite AI star Ilya Sutskever to help launch the company. This revelation was particularly notable given their close relationship.
