The internet at PPG Arena, home to the Pittsburgh Penguins, has been upgraded to a faster 6GHz Wi-Fi system, doubling its capacity to 500 access points. The upgrades are expected to speed up social media use and wireless payments. The faster internet will allow for more dynamic signage, real-time analytics, and interactive fan features at the arena.
