A teenager, 18-year-old Alan Vasquez Catalan, is facing homicide charges following an alleged street racing crash that killed a man when his car crashed into a tree. The other driver, who was allegedly racing, died at the scene. Despite his attorney, Falon Elbaz, who believes the charges may be an overreach, maintains that he will find him not guilty and is working to get him out of jail at a bond hearing next week. Police say Catalan and another driver were racing on a busy street on March 9 when the other car hit a speed limit sign, causing the driver to die.
