Anthony Miranda-Lizardi, a 39-year-old New Bedford man, pleaded guilty to charges of manslaughter and carrying a firearm without a license in connection with a bar fight in which a man was killed. The incident occurred at the Riverside Bar and Lounge in Fall River, Massachusetts, on October 9, 2022. The victim, Jose Solorzano Zelaya, was found with a gunshot wound to the right side of his body and died as a result of the wound. The defendant was sentenced to a state prison sentence of three years and five months, followed by a state sentence of 10 to 20 years. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Matthew Sylvia.
