UFC Hall-of-Famer BJ Penn could face jail time if he continues to refuse a state-ordered mental health examination. Penn is facing multiple criminal charges, including family abuse and violating a restraining order granted to his mother. His mother believes Penn suffers from Capgras Syndrome. In October, Hilo Judge Peter Kubota ordered Penn to undergo a mental health exam to determine whether he is fit to stand trial. Penn missed the appointment, claiming he was not notified about it. Penn's attorney argued that Penn had already taken a voluntary mental health test last year that indicated he did not need a necessary one. The results of the exam will be released in May.
