NFL player Damar Hamlin has announced 15 new scholarship opportunities at his alma mater, Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood. The $1,000 scholarships are available to Pittsburgh students seeking to attend private school or college, with five more specifically for students attending a building trade school. Hamlin, who grew up in McKees Rocks, made a full recovery after suffering a cardiac arrest during a game in 2023. The application for the scholarships is available on the Chasing M's Foundation's website.
