Chicago Cubs prospect Jefferson Rojas has been performing well in the spring, showing off an elite bat in a strong performance. Rojas, ranked as the Cubs' No. 3 prospect according to Baseball America, has been a standout in camp this year. His performance has been particularly encouraging, as he is playing regularly against pitchers older than him in Cactus League games. Despite adjusting his posture to stand more upright and separating his hands more in the offseason, Rojas is 6-for-18 in nine spring games. Manager Craig Counsell expects Rojas to be ready to play in the major leagues by the end of the year.
