Over 20 Pounds Of Fentanyl, 3 Pounds Of Heroin Found In Car At Border

Federal officers have found over 20 pounds of fentanyl and three pounds of heroin hidden in a car at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. The drugs were discovered after a 26-year-old Mexican man was sent to a secondary inspection. The fentanyl is enough to kill nearly 7 million people and the heroin is estimated to have a street value of nearly $300,000. The driver is facing federal charges related to narcotics importation and smuggling.
