Man arrested in Lincoln Park shooting outside bar, Chicago police say

Man has been arrested for a June 7 shooting outside a bar in Lincoln Park that left a woman critically injured outside of a bar. The shooting occurred on Sunday, June 7 in the 600-block of West Belden Avenue and left a 39-year-old woman in critical condition. Jaylin Jones, 23, has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery/discharge firearm. He is due in court on Friday. A deadly shooting near the same spot a few weeks later led to the closure of a nearby bar.
