Richard Gadd, creator/star of the HBO limited series "Half Man," spoke about his transformation into the character Ruben following his back-to-back series "Baby Reindeer". Gadd revealed that he underwent an extensive physical transformation to transform himself into Ruben and that he felt he needed to do so for people to buy the show. He also shared his thoughts on tuna and peanut butter, which he believes is a staple in TV. Gadd was initially reluctant to play Ruben due to his character being removed from his comfort zone. He credits his appearance in Variety and the title change on “Half Man” (originally called “Lions) for his inspiration.
