The Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to nine games with a 105-104 victory over the Orlando Magic. Luke Kennard scored the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds remaining, marking his 1,612th regular-season game played. The Lakers' Marcus Smart provided an inbounds pass from the baseline to Kennard, and Kennard hit a go-ahead 3-point with the last few seconds remaining. James, who was nearly the hero, was also credited with securing the possession. Despite an early lead from Orlando, the Lakers managed to recover with a 6-0 run to finish the game off. They are now 22-6 in clutch-time situations this season.
