A gallon of gas now costs more than $4 per gallon for the first time in over 3 years, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA). This comes as gas prices have risen steadily since Operation Epic Fury began on Feb. 28. The average cost now stands at $4.018 per gallon, compared to just $2.98 one month ago. Despite this disparity, drivers in Texas and California are seeing significant differences in gas prices, with Texas seeing the highest at $3.678 per gallon compared to California at $5.89. The White House has defended its efforts to control short-term energy price fluctuations, stating that once combat operations are over, the administration will continue to unleash energy dominance.
