The Inland Taipan, a venomous snake with the world's deadliest bite, is almost never attacked humans. The snake's venom is 10 times more deadly than the King Cobra's and 13 times more than the Black Mamba's. One bite from the snake contains enough venom to kill 200,000 mice or 100 people. Despite its toxic venom, the snake is extremely secretive and shy, and has been persecuted for its safety. The InlandTaipan's venom incapacitates prey quickly and allows it to take down prey within seconds of being bitten. The venom also causes the prey to bleed internally, making it an easy meal for the Inland taipan. Despite this, there have been no deaths from Inland's bites since the 1950s.
