Manslaughter Suspect Apprehended By Bridgeport Police

A 38-year-old Bridgeport man, Wilber Martinez, was apprehended after failing to appear for a court date due to a wrong-way crash that killed two people in 2022. He was previously released on a $500,000 bond following his arrest in August 2023 and charged with multiple counts of manslaughter with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, speeding over 70 mph, and other motor vehicle-related offenses. The arrest took place on March 3.
