Stanley Druckenmiller says stablecoins could power global payments in 10–15 years

Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller has stated that stablecoins could underpin global payment systems within the next decade or two, while maintaining his skepticism about the broader cryptocurrency market. He believes that the use of these tokens is incredibly useful in terms of productivity and efficiency. These are often pegged to a fiat currency, most commonly the U.S. dollar, and are widely used across digital asset markets for trading, payments and transfers. Despite this, Druckanmiller acknowledged that bitcoin has established itself as a store of value. He also questioned the U.,S. taxpayer's status as the world's reserve currency, stating that he believes the dollar will likely outlive.
