Taylor Frankie Paul, the 31-year-old reality TV star, is vacationing with her older children, Indy, 8, and Ocean, 5, amid a police investigation into an alleged domestic violence incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. This comes after ABC canceled the already-filmed season of The Bachelorette after TMZ published a 2023 video showing Taylor throwing chairs at Mortensen in front of her daughter. Taylor was arrested in 2023 for domestic violence, but the case came under new scrutiny after the publication of the video. Mortensen has been granted temporary custody of son Ever, 2, following the terms of a protective order he filed against Taylor. Two Utah police departments have opened independent domestic violence investigations involving Taylor and Mortensen, and an ongoing "domestic assault investigation" involving Taylor.
