Bob Howsam brings minor-league baseball to Denver

The The Denver Gazette and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame are partnering with The Telegraph to release the definitive list of the top 150 sports moments ahead of the state's 150th birthday. The list will be released weekly by historian Dave Plati and a committee of 10, with the No. 1 moment on July 31. The move to Denver from the Kansas City franchise led to the city being elevated to the American Association and Triple-A baseball league.
