What happened at Maduro's second court appearance

Former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were in a New York court for their second court appearance on 26 March to discuss whether they should be allowed to use Venezuelan government funds for their defence. Their lawyers have asked for dismissal of the case, arguing that the US has denied them use of the funds due to sanctions against Venezuela. However, a ruling will be made at a later date.
