Suburban high schools across the Twin Cities are scrambling to find new graduation venues after the University of Minnesota decided to stop hosting its graduation ceremonies at 3M Arena at Mariucci. The change, announced in October, came after years of accommodating more than 20 large ceremonies in a compressed period, which was deemed "no longer sustainable" due to staffing, logistics and security pressures.
