Miami-Dade, Broward animal care agencies waive fees on Adopt a Shelter Pet Day; adoption pop-up held at MIA

South Florida animal care agencies are marking National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day to raise awareness about the thousands of pets waiting for permanent homes. Miami-Dade Animal Services is partnering with Miami International Airport for an adoption event, offering free adoption fees and a free custom pet tag. Meanwhile, Broward County Animal Care has been waiving its own adoption fees.
