Pilot walks away unhurt after emergency landing at Auburn airport

The only person involved in the incident, a two-seater aircraft, made an emergency landing at Auburn Airport when the landing gear failed, causing it to skid about 100 yards down the runway. The pilot, who was uninjured, was able to walk away without being seriously injured. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m.
