A person with measles recently passed through Boston's Logan International Airport with the disease, according to state and local officials. The infected traveler had arrived on JetBlue Airways flight 470 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shortly after midnight on April 14 and may have been exposed to measles. Health officials are working with local partners to identify and notify those exposed individuals. Unvaccinated people should contact their healthcare provider immediately, avoid public places, and monitor for symptoms until May 5. The number of confirmed measles cases in Massachusetts remains unchanged at two.
