Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito was taken to the hospital after falling ill at a political dinner in Philadelphia on March 20, according to a report by CNN. After an evaluation, he was reportedly administered fluids for dehydration and returned to his Virginia home that evening. Since his hospitalization, Alito has made public appearances, including on his 76th birthday when the Supreme Court heard arguments over President Donald Trump's attempts to restrict birthright citizenship. Alito, who was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2005, has not commented on his future plans.
