Police identify Colina Del Sol woman, 35, killed in alleged domestic assault

Police have identified 35-year-old Nancy Del Alto as the woman who was fatally injured in an alleged domestic assault. The incident occurred at around 4 a.m. Saturday at the couple's rented residence in the 4300 block of 54th Street. Del Alto was found with facial trauma and bloodied. Her live-in boyfriend, 38-year old Jose Manuel Castaneda, was arrested and charged with murder. No motive for the attack has been disclosed.
