Testimony wraps up in trial for Clackamas County man accused of killing wife, 2 dogs

Michael Fournier is accused of murdering his wife, Susan "Phoenix" Lane, and her two dogs in 2024. The state and defense have rested their cases after seven days of trial. Clackamas County Detective Jim White recounted several phone calls Fournie made from jail accusing Lane of poisoning him. Fourniere is accused with second degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon. The jury will return on Thursday to begin deliberations.
