A family-owned Vietnamese restaurant, Saigon City, has been closed indefinitely due to a fire that forced it to shut down for an indefinite period. The restaurant has been a fixture in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, since 1996 and has served both local residents and visitors. A GoFundMe campaign has raised $5,094. The funds will be used to help the family pay bills and expenses while they recover from the damage.
