U.S. equity futures fell on Sunday evening as investors began a holiday-shortened week of trading. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 293 points, or 0.7%, and S&P 500 futures dropped 1.67% to a seven-month low of 6,368.85. The Nasdaq Composite also dropped 2.15% to 20,948.36. The losses have led to speculation about the impact of the Iran-Iran war on the real-world fallout. The market will be closed on Friday in observance of Good Friday.
