Microsoft Edge is getting desktop shortcuts for user profiles

The Microsoft 365 Roadmap has revealed that the company's Edge browser will soon be able to create and remove desktop shortcuts for different user profiles. The feature is still in development and is expected to be implemented in May 2026. The shortcuts will only be available when using the browser on a Windows computer.
