Edith Graff, a 74-year-old Yorkville woman, has been charged with several felonies related to a 2025 traffic crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The crash occurred around 4:28 p.m. on October 4, 2025, near Illinois Route 71 and Walsh Drive. Graff allegedly crossed the line and hit the pedestrian, who was transported to a local hospital where they were later pronounced dead. Police believe that Graff was using a cell phone at the time of the crash and the presence of alcohol in her system contributed to the accident.
