Exclusive: Deleted tweets reveal new surgeon general pick criticized Trump and RFK Jr. health policies

Dr. Nicole Saphier, President Donald Trump's nominee for surgeon general, has deleted several deleted social media posts from her X account, which criticizes the administration and its health policies. The posts, which have since been deleted, suggest that the administration may be hiding that measles is spreading widely in the US until after the midterms. Saphiers, a radiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and author of several books, also criticized the administration's handling of vaccine and autism issues. She became Trump's third choice for the surgeon general after the White House withdrew nominations of Dr. Janette Nesheiwat and Dr. Casey Means.
