Man charged in the death of 8-year-old bicyclist, documents say

23-year-old Khaliyal Burney has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle in the death of 8-year old Nyomi Summers. The incident occurred on Saturday, March 28, when Summers was riding her bike into the street from the yard of a home and was hit by a vehicle driven by Burney. The charges stem from an unrelated incident.
