The Marvel Rivals game, which has been steadily adding new characters and tie-ins since 2024, is set to evolve beyond the hero shooter into a larger, more immersive experience in the future. Creative director Guangyun Chen revealed that the studio is aiming to break boundaries in 2026 by moving beyond the standard 6v6 PvP and focusing on PvE. The upcoming "Path to Doomsday" event will include themed updates inspired by the Avengers films and a new storyline.
