A woman who works at Deer Creek Lodge, 27070 Cedar Road, received a threatening phone message from her former boyfriend, whom she had not seen for several months. The man threatened to go to her workplace and harm her, stating he had nothing to lose. The woman reported that the man had physically hurt her previously, leading to a protection order being issued against him in Cleveland Municipal Court. Police obtained a warrant for his arrest for aggravated menacing and will also be charged with violation of a protective order. A man staying at a home in Cleveland reported that his car was stolen from the driveway overnight. A male suspect was charged with theft after fleeing a store with stolen merchandise. The stolen items totalled $397.80.
