Alien: Earth creator set to remake cult hit Argentinian supernatural horror movie about violent, supernatural occurrences that plague a small neighborhood

Novelised creator Noah Hawley is set to direct an English-language remake of Argentinian supernatural horror film Terrified, directed by Demián Rugna, who directed the original Spanish-language film. The film, which follows a multi-layered narrative about a small town plagued by violent, supernatural occurrences, currently holds an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and won Best Horror Feature at 2018's Fantastic Fest. No release date has been announced for the film, but it is currently streaming on Prime Video and AMC Plus.
