Biz Markie's personal archives were unveiled at a private exhibition at Invite Only Studios on what would have been his 62nd birthday. The exhibition included over 50 items, including the rhyme book written by Markie in which he penned his hit, "Just a Friend," and rare cultural relics such as SL-700 Technics turntables. Other items included sneakers, jewelry collections, and jewelry collections from Biz's eclectic toy collection. Tara Hall, the curator behind the exhibition, expressed her desire to showcase these items as a personal shrine to Markie. Hall also revealed that Markie’s most prized possession is his most detailed rap collection, a gold record collection with thousands of records.
