Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) has made an unexpected strategic move, announcing an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud, specifically on network observability. The two companies launched Cloud Network Insights, a new first-party service built on Broadcom’s AppNeta technology, designed to give organizations end-to-end visibility across complex multi-cloud environments. The service is designed to help organizations identify if network issues are network or application issues. This move signals a larger strategic partnership between Broadcom and Google, with Broadcom extending its agreement to develop and supply custom Tensor Processing Units through 2031. In the first quarter of fiscal 2026, total revenue of $19.31 billion and 29.5% year over the previous year, Broadcom's AI chip revenue growth is more than doubling year over year.
