U.S. job growth increased more than expected in March, with the unemployment rate falling to 4.3%, according to the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics. Nonfarm payrolls increased by 178,000 jobs last month, after a downwardly revised 133,000 drop in February. Economists had predicted a rise of 60,000 positions, with estimates ranging from a loss of 25,000 to a gain of 125,000. However, a war with Iran with no clear end in sight has added uncertainty to the labor market. The labor market has been hit by President Donald Trump's aggressive import tariffs, which have been overturned by the U.S.'s Supreme Court.
