Toledo man finds recovery through local behavioral health organization

Justin Boyd, a 38-year-old Toledo man who battled drugs and alcohol for over two decades, has found recovery through a local behavioral health organization, Vital Health. Boyd credits much of his transformation to the organization, which provides support for individuals struggling with addiction through therapy, case managers, and housing support. The organization serves around 300 people each month and provides a real chance at recovery. The founder of the group, Jacob Spellis, shares his own personal story about his struggle with addiction and struggles with the criminal justice system at 18 and facing 10 years in prison.
